There’s something special about autumn in Allora, crisp mornings, golden afternoons and a relaxed country charm that’s best enjoyed outdoors. This May long weekend, the Allora Community Circle invites you to experience it all at the Allora Autumn Festival, A Day on the Dalrymple.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dalrymple Park on Sunday, May 3, from 10am to 3pm, the festival brings together the very best of the region in one vibrant, community-focused day.
Visitors can expect a park filled with markets and food vans, local coffee, handmade crafts and a variety of unique offerings showcasing small businesses from across the Southern Downs. Classic, custom and vintage vehicles will also be on display, adding a touch of nostalgia and interest for motoring enthusiasts.
Live entertainment will run throughout the day, creating a lively yet laid-back atmosphere perfect for families & friends to gather & enjoy.
Pack a chair or picnic blanket and settle in under a shady tree along the banks of Dalrymple Creek, where you can soak in the fresh autumn air and take in the sights and sounds of the festival. It’s the kind of day designed for slowing down, connecting with the community and enjoying the simple pleasures.
With so much happening across the region over the May long weekend, Allora offers the perfect opportunity to pause and experience genuine country hospitality. Take a stroll down the main street, explore one of the town’s historical walking trails or simply enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
Entry is free, with plenty to keep the kids entertained and something for all ages. Even your four-legged friends are welcome, just keep them on a lead.
