The Allora Community Circle invites everyone to celebrate 30 years of this cherished community event, The Allora Bush Christmas.

There’s something truly special about Christmas in the country, and nowhere captures that festive spirit quite like Allora Bush Christmas, returning to Herbert Street, Saturday 6 December from 3pm to 9pm.

This year marks 30 years since the very first Bush Christmas lit up the main street. From its humble beginnings, when the Allora Rotary Club first brought the community together with local musicians, school kids singing carols, and Santa arriving on the fire truck, a timeless tradition was born.

Three decades on, those early memories have paved the way for something truly special. Allora Bush Christmas has grown into a celebration loved not only by locals, but by families who return year after year for the country hospitality, safe family atmosphere, and good old-fashioned fun.

This year’s event will bring back all the things that make Bush Christmas a must-do on the region’s festive calendar. Local talent will take to the stage, joined by special guests from years gone by, and the Warwick Thistle Pipe Band will once again fill the air with the sound of bagpipes.

Markets will line Herbert Street, there‘ll be roving entertainment, a huge carnival area with the Trackless Train, Tea Cups, and inflatables, all included with the $25 all-you-can-ride armband. New rides this year include the thrilling Tornado, for the braver riders.

And the real showstopper? Live reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh through the street! Kids (and adults) can say hello to Santa, pat a reindeer, and soak up the wonder of a real-life Christmas scene right here in Allora.

When it’s time to take a break, grab a bite or a drink from a local favourite. Amy’s Café, Katie’s Cocktail Bar, The Blue Cow and the Railway Hotel are perfect spots to watch the festivities unfold. Many of Allora’s local stores will be open, making it the perfect chance to do some Christmas shopping while supporting the businesses that support our community all year round.

Come along and celebrate this milestone year in ‘The Best Little Town on the Downs’. Bring the kids, your friends, and get ready for a night of festive fun, country cheer, and true Allora Christmas spirit.
