The 2021 Stanthorpe Rodeo – generously sponsored by Stanthorpe Quality Meats will offer a full rodeo program encompassing 17 individual rodeo events, with also a $1000 Feature Bull Ride. Stanthorpe will also see for the first time a favourite amongst the junior rough riders, Under 15 Mini Bull ride and Under 12 Mini Bull ride, brought to you by Mini Bull Contractor Doak Bucking Bulls.

Under a COVID safety plan the committee has been working tirelessly to bring you what they hope to be another successful event that will keep the entire family entertained, both in and outside the arena. Food, drinks and bar facilities with EFTPOS and ATM available, a mechanical bull will also be operational for the little kids (and big kids) alike.

This years rodeo events include: – Feature Bull ride; Bull ride; Saddle Bronc ride; Bareback Bronc ride; Novice Bull ride; Novice Bareback ride; U18 Jnr Bull ride; Rope and Tie; Steer Wrestling; Team Roping; Steer Undecorating; Barrel Race; Breakaway roping; U18 Jnr Breakaway roping; U18 Junior Barrel race; U15 Mini Bull ride & U12 Mini Bull ride.

Stanthorpe will also host it’s first National Rodeo Association (NRA) Junior Series Rodeo. 21 junior events, sees the rising stars of rodeo battling it out from 8am Sunday 7th March.
