In 2027, Warwick Christian College will celebrate 20 years of Christian education in the Warwick community.

The College began in 2007 with just seven students on an old camp site on Canningvale Road. From those humble beginnings, Warwick Christian College has grown steadily and now serves more than 250 students from Prep to Year 12.

A major milestone in the College’s story came in 2012, when Warwick Christian College purchased the historic Slade School campus. Since then, the College has worked to make the site its own, developing classrooms, sporting spaces and learning facilities while preserving the character and history of the campus.

Over the past two decades, the College has remained committed to serving families across Warwick and the wider Southern Downs region. That growth has been made possible by the commitment of students, parents, staff and supporters who have shared a belief in the value of Christian education.

At the heart of Warwick Christian College is its mission, Educating for Eternity, Equipping for Life. The College believes that education is about more than academic achievement. It is also about helping young people grow in character, confidence, faith and purpose.

For Principal Jason Gay, the 20th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate not only how much the College has grown, but also the people who have helped shape its story.

“From seven students in 2007 to the flourishing College community we see today, there is so much to be thankful for,” Mr Gay said.

“Over 20 years, hundreds of students and families have called Warwick Christian College home. Our staff have faithfully invested in generations of young people, and it has been wonderful to see our students and families flourish together.”

“As a Christian College, we believe every young person has God-given value and purpose. Our hope is that students leave Warwick Christian College well equipped for life and ready to use their gifts to make a positive difference in the world around them.”

As the College looks toward its third decade, it continues to grow, develop and expand the opportunities available to students, while remaining committed to the Christian faith and community values that have shaped it from the beginning.

Throughout 2027, Warwick Christian College will host a number of events to celebrate and commemorate its 20-year journey. A highlight of the anniversary year will be a special 20th Anniversary Spring Fair in Term Three, bringing current families, past students, former staff and the wider Warwick community together to celebrate.
