After a year of cancellations the Allora Community Circle was ecstatic when the Premier lifted restrictions on Christmas events, thus allowing the Allora Bush Christmas & Markets to go ahead on December 4th. With 2019 a huge success the group is thankful to be able to bring back a bigger and better event in 2020.
From 4:30pm, Herbert street, Allora will come alive with family rides including the super slide, the spinning tea-cups and the trackless train, Jump N Slide Warwick will be there with their amazing inflatables and balloon twisting and there are plenty of stalls for the kids! Speaking of stalls, a whopping 45+ local vendors and businesses will line the street. The Allora Community Circle hopes to encourage people to SHOP LOCAL this Christmas, especially post COVID-19 when it is more important than ever.
Local Duo 'Smooth Talk' will take the main stage from 5pm entertaining the crowds along with local performers bringing Christmas cheer to one and all. The night will culminate with a visit from Santa’s Helpers at 7:15pm who will hand out some icy treats to the kids and young-at-heart.
“It's amazing to be able to help bring such an amazing tradition to life. I remember running down to the Bush Christmas after school when I was a kid, and now I get to watch my own children make beautiful, lasting memories with their friends.” Reminisces ACC Secretary Krissy Henry.
“It really shows the strength of our community and our region. It's a great place to live and when it matters, everyone is there to support one another.”
The Allora Community Circle would like to extend an invitation to all Southern Downs residents to attend the Allora Bush Christmas and Markets. It is an event with spirit, where you can relax, watch some music, browse the markets, grab dinner, and it's extremely family orientated.
