The new owners of Steele’s Bakery Café in Fitzroy Street, Jason and Karen Vogler would like to invite all locals to come in and try some of their delicious fair.

Previously the Vogler’s owned the Alexander Motel and Peppercorn Restaurant between 2008 and 2012 before moving South for bigger opportunities.

The business will be managed by their older son Bayley who has ten year’s-experience as a baker, learning his trade in a very busy boutique Bakery in South-West Rocks on the Mid-North Coast of NSW and his partner Jessica who has more than 10 year’s restaurant management experience. Jess’s parents have almost 30 year’s restaurant experience, so she also knows what hard work is. Some of you might remember Bayley from Warwick IGA where he was also a head baker for a couple of years before taking on the role of head baker at the brand-new Coles, Glenvale store, when it opened in 2020.

Jason and Karen have been living back in Warwick since June 2020 and were looking to purchase a strong local business for the whole family to get behind.

With almost 40 years of hospitality and retail industry experience, the Vogler’s have taken over Steele’s Bakery Café with the intention to continue the long- standing tradition of award-winning pies and pastries, while introducing their own touch. 

Opening from 6 am Monday to Saturday, workers can grab a quick breakfast and packed lunch before they head off to work. Phone orders can be placed the day prior to make sure your order is ready when you turn up. We have already increased production levels and aim to have most products available throughout every day.
