Warwick’s own heritage railway has used the shut down period to introduce a newly branded train operating to your favourite destinations but with many options to make your day out even more special.
For instance taking the beautiful train ride to Wallangarra, having lunch and then taking a bus through the Girraween National Park and back via to Stanthorpe to meet the train. As well as this we will also be offering our popular Winery Tours from Stanthorpe.
Our first trip will be on September 12th to the nearby village of Clifton, leaving Warwick at 10am and back by 3pm. The option of a 2 course lunch or a BBQ and tour of the town can be selected when making your booking.
On Friday 24th of September we take the Downs Explorer to Toowoomba for a weekend of short trips.
If you are happy to make your own return travel arrangements, come along on the Friday for just $20. The train will leave Warwick at 12 noon and arrive Toowoomba at 3pm. The same one-way trip will happen again on the Sunday, with the return train to Warwick leaving Toowoomba at about 5pm.
On both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th there will be morning and afternoon return trips from Toowoomba Station to Wyreema. Leaving at 9am and 1pm each day. These are short 2 hour rides and are great for a family day out at just $40 for adults and $20 for children.
