In a world often marked by the hustle and bustle of daily life, moments of genuine connection become increasingly precious. For the veteran and ex-service community of Warwick, embracing camaraderie and togetherness isn't just a sentiment; it's a way of life, a bond forged through shared experiences and a deep understanding of service to country.
With this spirit in mind, the community is proud to announce its inaugural ANZAC Day dinner. This event isn't just another gathering; it's a testament to the enduring bonds of service and sacrifice. Veterans from various organizations, including the RSL sub-Branch, Southern Downs Ex-Service Association, National Servicemen’s Association 1950-1972, War Widows, and Legacy, are extending a heartfelt invitation to anyone who has served in the Australian Defence Force, or is currently serving, regardless of their affiliation with these groups, or was a member of any Allied Defence Force.
If you belong to any of these groups, you and your partner, on behalf of the Veteran and Ex-Service community of Warwick, are cordially invited to attend the inaugural Pre-ANZAC day dinner,
To be held on Saturday April 20, 2024,
6pm to 7pm,at Club Warwick RSL, $40 per person.
The aim is simple yet profound: to create an environment where veterans and ex-service personnel can come together, share a meal, and rekindle the camaraderie that defined their service years. It's about honouring the past, celebrating the present, and fostering a sense of belonging that transcends time and distance. In a world that often struggles to comprehend the realities of military service, these gatherings serve as a beacon of solidarity.
So, to all who have worn or wear the uniform and to those who have stood by their side, the veteran and ex-service community of Warwick welcomes you with open arms. Come join them as they honour the past, embrace the present, and look toward a future filled with camaraderie and togetherness.
