The Warwick Turf Club is gearing up for a refreshed chapter of a beloved tradition, as the Warwick Automotive Picnic Races return to Allman Park on Saturday, 21 June 2025 - this time as a NO BYO event.
After years of holding the line as the last BYO picnic race day in Queensland, a directive from racing authorities has brought that tradition to a close. With Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards front and centre, the move ensures a safer, more enjoyable environment for all attendees.
While the change marks the end of an era, it also paves the way for an exciting and elevated race day experience.
The Warwick Turf Club is pulling out all stops to deliver an incredible 2025 event. For those 18 and over, the Kidszone Australia Trackside Pavilion experience ($120pp) includes: Reserved or shared seating for you and your guests, Racecourse entry and access to the licensed Pavilion, A five-hour drinks package (12–5pm) including sparkling, wine, premix spirits, beer, soft drinks and alcohol free options, Two generous platter drops by Top Paddock Catering—hot and cold—serving gourmet bites for every taste, Full access to venue screens, betting facilities, and live entertainment by POLR (4.30pm – 7.30pm), Access to the Warwick Hotel Fashions on the Field, with early gate access (7am–10:30am) for table decorating. Best-dressed table wins $500 cash!
General Admission is still just $15 for adults, with children under 17 free, and includes entertainment, the best access to the finish post, Top Paddock Catering, bars, TAB, bookies, and fashion festivities.
Proudly supported by Warwick Automotive, Warwick Hotel, Lessons Learnt Consulting, Southern Downs Ag, Ergon Energy, Grove Juice, Ray White Rural and Kidszone Australia, the 2025 edition promises to be unforgettable.
