Allora is gearing up once again to host its beloved Autumn Festival, promising a weekend filled with entertainment, delectable dining, and cherished traditions. Set to take place on the May long weekend (4th-6th), this year's festival is packed with both familiar favourites and exciting new additions that are sure to delight attendees of all ages.

One highlights of the festival from years gone by is 'Dinner on Drayton', generously sponsored this year by Properties Ruhle. This exclusive event, invitedes guests to dine under the stars while being entertained by Linda Capwell, and savor a sumptuous three-course meal featuring the finest local produce. Prepared by Allora-raised Chef, Adam Archer from Archer’s Catering, this culinary experience promises to be an unforgettable evening for all who attend. (Only 5 tables left, Get your tickets now)

Adding a fresh twist to the festivities is the introduction of 'A Day on the Dalrymple,' This family-friendly event takes place on Sunday May 5th, kicking off at 9 am at Sue Cowley Way, on the corner of Jubb and Herbert Street. With a vibrant array of vintage and classic vehicles, over 60 market stalls, food vans offering delicious treats, live music, and entertainment, 'A Day on the Dalrymple' promises festive fun for everyone.

From 2pm we’ve kicked things up a notch. Grab your online tickets and continue to celebrate into the evening with the ultimate Autumn Festival experience at Dalrymple Park, featuring an impressive lineup of bands - LEADMXTAPE, Fern Brothers Music, Fine Tuned, Creatures of Habit -  performing until 10 pm.

Carnival Corner offers an exciting selection of carnival food favourites, along with thrilling rides for the whole family to enjoy. And for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, there's an 18+ area where adults can unwind with a refreshing brew from the Festival Bar or maybe even the famous Beechmountain Distillery Wagon.

Throughout the afternoon, guests can marvel at the incredible sand art creations by world-renowned artist Dennis Massoud or participate in sand sculpture workshops led by the artist himself. The 'Local Legend Inflatable Barrel Races' promise plenty of laughter and excitement for all ages, while fire twirlers dazzle the crowd with their mesmerising performances as the evening unfolds.

Entry (from 2pm – 10pm) to 'A Day on the Dalrymple' is available online, with adult tickets priced at just $15 and children 16 and under,  free. For unlimited fun, armbands can be purchased for just $25, offering access to all the rides and attractions. Priority-entry is just one of the perks for those who pre-purchase tickets online. Skip the queues and secure prime positions in front of the main stage or be first in line to ride the Super Sizzler!

Throughout the weekend, visitors can explore an art exhibition in the Allora Senior Citizens Hall, take a historical town and cemetery walk conducted by the Allora Historical Society, discover the rich history of Allora at the Historical and Sports Museums.

Explore our region and enjoy High tea at Glengallan, visit the Darling Downs Zoo, Say hello to the Ostrich and Alpacas at Long Neck Farm, explore Goomburra, or why not spend a night by the fire, further up the Dalrymple, at the Goomburra Valley Campgrounds there's no shortage of activities to enjoy during the Allora Autumn Festival.
